Prof. Ce Zhu, IEEE and IET Felllow, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, China

Ce Zhu is currently a Professor with the School of Electronic Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China. His research interests include image/video coding, streaming and processing, 3D video, visual perception and applications. He has served on the editorial boards of a few journals, including as an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Image ProcessingIEEE Transactions on BroadcastingIEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, and IEEE Signal Processing Letters. He has served on technical committees, organizing committees and as track/area/session chairs for over 60 international conferences, including serving as a Technical Program Co-Chair of IEEE ICME 2017. He is a Fellow of IEEE and a Fellow of IET.

Prof. Yan Yang, Southwest Jiaotong University, China

Dr. Yan Yang is currently Professor and vice dean of Information Science and Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University. She worked as a visiting scholar at the Center of Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (CPAMI) in Waterloo University of Canada for one and half year. Her research interests include artificial intelligence, big data analysis and mining, ensemble learning, cloud computing and service. Prof. Yang has participated in more than 10 high-level projects recently. And have taken charge of two programs supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), one NSFC International (Regional) Cooperation and Exchanges program, one Project of National Science and Technology Support Program, and one Supporting Program for Science and Technology of Sichuan Province. She has authored and co-authored over 150 papers in journals and international conference proceedings, 1 special issue of international journal, 1 proceeding and 2 books. She also serves as the Vice Chair of ACM Chengdu Chapter, Member of IEEE, Senior Member of CCF and CAAI, Member of CCF Education Work, Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition, Theoretical Computer Science Committee, Member of CAAI Machine Learning, Rough Set and Soft Computing Committee, Deputy Secretary General of Sichuan Province Computer Society and Vice Chair of Big Data Industry University Research Council of Sichuan Institute of Electronics.

Prof. Yao Liang, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, USA

Yao Liang received his B.S. degree in Computer Engineering and M.S. degree in Computer Science from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Clemson University, Clemson, USA, in 1997.
He is currently a Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science, Purdue University School of Science, Indiana University Purdue University, Indianapolis (IUPUI), USA. His research interests include wireless sensor networks, Internet of Things, cyberinfrastructure, multimedia networking, adaptive network control and management, machine learning, neural networks, data mining, data fusion, data management and integration, and distributed systems. His research projects have been funded by NSF. Prior to joining IUPUI, he was on the faculty of Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech, USA. He also had extensive industrial R&D experiences as a Technical Staff Member in Alcatel USA. Dr. Liang has published numerous papers on various prestigious journals and international conferences, and received two US patents. He has served regularly on Program Committees for various major international conferences, and served as a reviewer for numerous prestigious journals. Dr. Liang has given invited talks and lectures at various universities in US, Europe and China. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, and a Member of ACM.

Assco. Prof. Dr. Supavadee Aramvith, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand

Supavadee Aramvith (IEEE S’95-M’01-SM’06, IEICE M’04) received the B.S. (first class honors) degree in Computer Science from Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand, in 1993. She received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA, in 1996 and 2001, respectively. She joined Chulalongkorn University in June 2001. Currently, she is an Associate Professor and Head of Digital Signal Processing Laboratory at Department of Electrical Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. She was Associate Head in International Affairs (2007-2016) and Head, Communication Engineering Division (2013-2016). She is a focal point of Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University as an academia member of International Telecommunication Union (ITU) under United Nations (2015-Present) and is an Expert to ITU-D for the Impact Study of ICT4SG (ICT for Sustainable Development Goals) (2016-2017). She is currently IEEE Region 10 Executive Committee: Educational Activities Coordinator (2011-2014, 2016), IEEE Educational Activities Board (EAB) volunteers:  EAB Engineering Projects for Communities Service (EPICS in IEEE) (2012-2016) and HKN Globalization Committee (2016). She was IEEE Region 10 WIE Coordinator (2015) and MGA Representative to EAB (2015). She was Assistant Executive Director of AUN/SEED-Net Secretariat, JICA Project from 2007-2009. She is also in the IEEE Circuits and Systems (CAS) Society Technical Committee on Multimedia System and Applications, IEEE Communication Society Multimedia Communication Committee, APSIPA Image and Video Technical Committee Chair, IEEE Signal Processing Society Chapter Chair of Thailand Section and IEEE Thailand Section Executive Committee. She also serves as Chair, IEICE Bangkok area representative. She is an Associate Editor of IEICE Transaction on Information and Systems.  She is reviewer of major journals such as IEEE-TSVT, JVCIR, ETRI, and EIT Image Processing.  She also serves as General Co-Chair (ISMAC 2009-2015, MMM 2018), Technical Program Co-Chair (IWAIT 2008, IEEE ISCIT (2010, 2012, 2015, 2017), APSIPA (2016-2017), Special Session co-chairs (APSIPA (2014, 2018)), International Steering Committee (IEEE ISPACS), Board member (IWAIT) and Organising Committee of many well known conferences such VCIP and ICME.   In addition, She has rich project management experiences as the project leader and technical advisor to The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commissions of Thailand and Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
